"MIC-100X"
The leaf chamber uses a closed (sealed) system. Inside this enclosed space, the photosynthetic rate is calculated from the CO2 change rate — the speed at which the leaf absorbs CO2.
Light intensity is fixed via LED, and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity are also held constant. By narrowing down the variables, each sample can be measured in a short time. The system is designed to collect large volumes of comparative data across many samples.
Measured data (CO2, temperature, humidity, and calculated photosynthetic rate) is saved to the SD card in Excel format, ready for analysis and editing on your own PC.
Options
NEWTranspiration Measurement Option
Software that corrects for sensor response lag from the MIC-100X's temperature/humidity sensor and calculates the transpiration rate from its rate of change.
